GOOD SHEPHERD JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP EVENTS

Unless otherwise noted all events are at Good Shepherd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

 

October 3, 2009  - Look for God

Apple Picking at Patterson’s Fruit Farm.  We’ll meet at the Kootsouradis’ at 1:30 and caravan to the farm.  Children will also begin a month long service project to help the hungry in the Cleveland area.

 

November 7, 2009 - Share What We Have

Pizza party to complete the service project.  We’ll count the coins, sort the food, and play a game.

 

December 5, 2009 - Sing with Joyful Hearts

Go caroling and surprise some fellow church members with holiday songs and cheer.  We’ll meet at church and caravan from house to house.

 

January 2, 2010 - No meeting.

 

February 6, 2010 - Share Some Love

Make valentines and care packages for our older brothers and sisters at Good Shepherd who are in college.

 

March 6, 2010 - Learn a Tradition

Make pretzels and discover the meaning behind their shape. 

 

April 3, 2010 – Holy Saturday

A  quiet lesson on what Holy Saturday is to us and other Christian faiths. 

 

May 1, 2010 - Care of Others

Visit the elders of our church and bring them a surprise.  We’ll meet at church and caravan from house to house.

 

June 5, 2010 - Have some fun 

Cook-out and sleep-over.  We’ll meet at church at 6:00 p.m.

 

July 3, 2010 - No meeting.

 

August 7, 2010 – Walk with God

Mid-Summer Meet-up and Nature Hike.  More information to come. 

 

September 4, 2010 - No meeting.
