Church of the Good Shepherd |

We seek to grow warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism. Our Christian community is made deeper and richer by each new member. We would love to have you share your walk with us. Jesus created the Christian church to continue his work in the world. You cannot grow as a Christian apart from Jesus' church. We Christians need each other for relationship, encouragement, accountability and nurture. Through the church we are formed into God's people in the world, and through the Word and Sacraments of God we are nourished and supported. |

Groups (More) |
Godly PlayGodly Play is a Montessori style curriculum for our children in Kindergarten through Grade 2. We hope to nurture each child to know, love and serve God by gathering them together, sharing a story, providing time to “work” independently and closing by gathering them together again to share a “feast” and say goodbye.
Walk With MeWalk With Me is our Sunday School curriculum for our children in grades 3 through 6. Our vision is to nurture each child to know, love and serve God by teaching scripture and biblical truth and helping each child to apply it to their everyday life. In doing so we hope that the children experience God and God’s love for them.
Youth GroupOur Youth Group meets weekly and is for teens in grades 7 through 12. Each Sunday we continue to encourage each one to know, love and serve God through exploration of scripture and its biblical truths and help them apply it to their everyday lives. In addition, our youth have opportunities to be part of larger diocesan events and outreach ministries in order that they may share their faith and learn to serve others in the community. In doing so, they become a part of a much bigger community of believers.
Adult ForumOur adults have the opportunity to meet most Sundays following worship for about an hour and discuss contemporary topics from a Christian point of view. Each week’s session stands on its own and there is no registration required. The nursery is usually available.
Kerygma Bible StudiesKerygma Bible Studies are accessible enough for those with little or no Biblical background and still challenging enough for those who have studied the Bible all their lives. This small group meets most Tuesday nights from September 23rd through February 3rd from 7:15 – 8:30 p.m. Registration is required. This session’s topic is Romans.
Thursday Morning Women’s Bible StudyThe Thursday morning Women's Bible Study has been meeting for 20 years as of this year. This small group meets at 9:30 for a time of fellowship and Bible study closing with a brief time of prayer. Exodus is currently being studied. |
